According to the Fırat University Education and Examination Regulations, the
announcement and objection of exam results must be made as follows:
ARTICLE 36 – (1) General and make-up exam results must be entered into the
Student Affairs automation system within three business days following the end of the
relevant examination period. Within the same period, exam results must be submitted
to the relevant department head for forwarding to the Student Affairs Department.
Exam documents and course attendance sheets are retained by the relevant
department for two years.
(2) Exam results may not be changed except to determine a material error. Students
or faculty members must submit their grade correction requests in writing to the
relevant department head within three business days of the announcement of the
exam results.
(3) Objected exam documents are reviewed by the department head and the
instructor conducting the exam. If necessary, the department head may, with the
approval of the department board, establish a committee of at least three members
from the relevant department, one of whom must be the faculty member teaching the
course, to review the exam documents. If there are any material errors in the exam
documents, the objection will be decided by the relevant department's administrative
board.
(4) The student's objection will be resolved within one week.
