Students wishing to take optional English preparatory courses can apply to the
School of Foreign Languages by submitting a petition until the end of business hours
on Monday, September 15, 2025. Applicants cannot change their preferences after
the Proficiency Exam, as specified in the Academic Calendar. The quota for optional
English preparatory courses is set at 50. If more applicants than the quota, an exam
will be administered on Wednesday, September 17, 2025, at 9:00 AM. The top 50
students with the highest scores will be eligible for the preparatory course.
