Students in departments without a preparatory program may apply online to take the
Exemption Exam for YDİ107, YDİ108, YDİ207, and YDİ208, which they will be taking
for the first time. The YDMS exam, which will be held on Wednesday, September 24,
2025, at 1:00 PM in the School of Foreign Languages ​​classrooms.The  students who score between 70 and 84 will be exemptfrom YDİ107 and YDİ108. Students who score 85 or above will be exempt from YDİ207 and YDİ208, if applicable. Attendance is not mandatory. Students who do not attend will not lose any rights and will continue to take their YDİ Compulsory English courses via distance learning as usual, without attendance requirements.

- Students wishing to take the YDMS exam are required to apply. Applications will be accepted on September 16, 17, and 18.
- Students who do not apply by the deadline will not be able to take the exam.
- The application link will be added to this announcement. Once the relevant form is completed and submitted, no further action is required.
- Only students taking the YDI courses listed above for the first time are eligible to take the exam.
- No students will be admitted to the exam hall after the exam begins. Therefore, students must be present at least 10 minutes before the exam time.
- Digital devices such as mobile phones or smartwatches are prohibited during the exam.

- Students must have their student ID, national ID card, or any other official identification document with them during the exam.
- Students from departments with a mandatory preparatory program are not eligible to take this exam.
- Letter grades for students who successfully pass the exam will be determined in accordance with the current "FIRAT UNIVERSITY EXEMPTION AND ADAPTATION
PROCEDURES GUIDELINE." According to the current guideline, the table is as follows:
