IDEA Conference

The 17th International IDEA Conference, organized as part of our university's 50th
anniversary celebrations, was successfully held on May 7-9, 2025. Organized in
collaboration with the Department of English Language and Literature of the Faculty
of Humanities and Social Sciences and the School of Foreign Languages, the
conference brought together numerous academics and researchers specializing in
their fields. Presentations were given across a wide range of fields, particularly
literature and cultural studies, throughout the three-day event.

The conference, chaired by our School Director, Prof. Dr. Seda ARIKAN, featured
presentations from faculty members A. Gökhan TUĞAN, Esra KARATEPE, and Ezgi
Derya TERTEMİZ.
