Our University Held the 2025-2026 Academic Year Opening Ceremony

With a deep-rooted history spanning half a century in education, our university began
the 2025-2026 Academic Year with a vibrant ceremony. The opening ceremony was
well-attended.
The opening ceremony, held at the Atatürk Cultural Center, was attended by Elazığ
Governor Numan Hatipoğlu, AK Party Elazığ Deputies Prof. Dr. Erol Keleş and Ejder
Açıkkapı, CHP Elazığ Deputies Gürel Erol, Chief Public Prosecutor Aşkın Yeğin,
University Rector Prof. Dr. Fahrettin Göktaş, Yüksek İhtisas University Rector Prof.
Dr. Kadirhan Sunguroğlu, Bar Association President Melih Efe, Elazığ Deputy Mayor
Nazif Bilginoğlu, Vice Rectors Prof. Dr. Mahmut Doğru, Prof. Dr. İrfan Kaygusuz, Prof.
Dr. Mehmet Yılmaz, Secretary General Prof. Dr. Sinan Akpınar, directors of
institutions and organizations, academics, and students attended the opening
ceremony. Our School Director Prof. Dr. Seda Arıkan, and our Vice Principals
Lecturer Dr. Abdullah Gökhan Tuğan and Lecturer Dr. Esra Karatepe attended the
opening ceremony.
