The Mongolian Students and Youth Overseas Conference (MSYOC) and the
Mongolian Students Abroad / Forum 2025 program were held in Istanbul with the
support of the Ministry of Youth and Sports of the Republic of Turkey, the Presidency
of Mongolia, the Mongolian Consulate General in Istanbul, the Mongolian Embassy in
Ankara, the Mongolian Council Abroad, the Turkish-Mongolian Foundation, and Fırat
University.

The program, designed to enable Mongolian students studying abroad to share their
experiences and create new opportunities, as well as to support, inspire, and foster
collaboration in their contributions both to their home country and to international
platforms, was attended by Deputy Minister of Youth and Sports of the Republic of
Turkey, Dr. Enes Eminoğlu; Mongolian Consul General in Istanbul, Ankhbayar
Danuu; President of the Mongolian Council Abroad, Tserendemberel Sukhee; Chair
of the Turkish-Mongolian Foundation, Veysel Çiftçi; and Professor Dr. Ahmet Taşağıl;
Boğaziçi University faculty member Dr. Ömer Erkut Bulut, an international law expert;
Prof. Dr. Seda Arıkan, Director of the FÜ School of Foreign Languages; and Prof. Dr.
Süleyman Kaan Yalçın, Director of the FÜ TÖMER (Turkish-Mongolian Foundation)
Board of Directors representing Fırat University; and over 250 Mongolian students
from 24 different countries, all studying at 40 different universities and earning
degrees in their respective fields, attended the event.

At the end of the program, Veysel Çiftçi, Chair of the Turkish-Mongolian Foundation,
presented a portrait of Genghis Khan, reflecting Mongolian history and culture, to be
presented to our Rector, Prof. Dr. Fahrettin Göktaş, expressing his gratitude for his

support. He also emphasized the need to further strengthen collaborations between
Mongolian universities and scientific institutions and Fırat University through
agreements and events, emphasizing the significance and significance of Fırat
University's support.
