Establishment of the Fırat University MUN Society

The Fırat University Model United Nations (FUMUN) Society was established with the participation of students from various departments, under the academic guidance of Lecturer Ezgi Derya Tertemiz and the presidency of English Language and Literature student Huzeyfe Emre Deniz.

The society aims to enhance students' English-language debating and public speaking skills regarding international relations, diplomacy, and global issues. In the five academic meetings held since its inception, topics such as the mechanics of MUN simulations, global affairs, international law, and diplomacy were addressed, and activities were conducted to improve students' negotiation and effective speaking abilities.

The society continues its activities regularly under academic guidance.
